Attached are the 3 projects we made at the Regional Convention.
This card was pretty cool and kind of easy to make, although there were a few steps. We used the 1" circle punch on scrap paper. Then using the sponge daubers, we added gumball green circles. We also used the daubers around the edge of the whisper white card stock. That was layered on basic grey card stock and then on top of whisper white. We cut a circle notch on each side of the card. and adhered it all. On top of this is a strip of grey and a small piece of Pool Party CS. We threaded white bakers twine through a wooden button and attached. Oh!! We used the Clockworks stamp set for that little frilly edge thingy and the little circle. Don't remember what set the thanks so much sentiment comes from. We also stamped the envelope, which I have never done, but will do from now on.
I love, love, love, love LOVE this project!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I say I love this project? And talk about detailed!! It is a little note pad cover!! LOTS of steps and I don't know if I will ever do this again, so I will treasure this!! We used Grey , Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Summer Starfruit ink and card stock. We first had to score the grey paper vertically and horizontally, using the Simply Scored Scoring tool!! What fun it was to use it. We then used the sprizter and added some pool party ink. Then we stamped the card stock with images from the Clockworks stamp set. We used the flower punch and wet the card stock after so we could crumple it a bit. We also scored the strips of green, coral and mustard SC and snipped the ends to have that look. I'm not sure what set the "one in a million" sentiment is from (I'm sure I have it somewhere written down). We also used clear buttons and coral and white bakers twine. SUPER CUTE!! I leave this close to me so I can jot notes when I'm trying to think of card ideas.
Our last project was this little box as well as the 5 note cards inside of it. The box was made using 2 large tags in calypso coral. I put this together after I got home. We also used the same flower punch and the Clockworks stamp set. Used the same colors as well. Just goes to show you how versatile Stampin Up! products are. Look at what can be done with the same stamp set and same colors!!
Hope you enjoy. I took photos of the swaps and will share this week!! Thanks for looking!

Too Many Swaps!!
Well, apparently, I made way more than 75 swaps, since I have close to 40 left!!! I hate wasting paper. So I was able to carefully remove the swap from the paper backing and then attach it to a full size piece of card stock to make note cards. I'm going to use them for myself and give some as gifts. Since Mother's Day is coming, these will make nice gifts for some of my favorite moms!
I used Sahara Sand and Melon Mambo card stock. I'll be back later with our make and takes from Regional and some of the swaps I received.

2013 Regional Conference
Last Saturday, my friend & upline Maureen and I got up early and drove to Baltimore, Maryland for Stampin Up's regional conference. We met up with our "team" and were joined by 850 fellow east coast stampers. Yep, there were 850 of us at the Baltimore Convention Center!! A sea of stampers, creativity and Shelli Gardner, Founder and CEO of Stampin Up joined us for the fun!! I will admit, I went into complete GEEK mode when I saw she was there!! I stood in line twice to meet her and have my photo snapped with her!! She even complimented me on my pretty orange sweater and then said, well you are gorgeous anyway!! I was SHAKING when I walked away from her. I doubt Denzel Washington could have had more of an effect on me!!!
I haven't posted in awhile, but I haven't been a complete slacker either. Right after I made the Valentine's Day goodie bags shown in my last post, I started making swaps for Regional. My goal was to make 100, but I may have only gotten to 75.
Okay, so no, this is not my card. I was inspiried (as always) by Mary Fish. Although I love the simplicity of this card, I wanted to punch mine up a bit with a little color and some embellishments.
I used the Bloomin Marvelous stamp set from the Sell-A-Bration catalog. The colors are Raspberry Ripple, Bashful Blue (which is retirning) and Summer Star Fruit. I used some dazzling diamonds in the center of each flower. The butterfly is made from the punch and is embellished with a diamond (or a pearl). I thought it was pretty nice, until I saw some of the other cards!! All I can say is WOW!! There are some creative and talented Stampin Up demonstrators out there. I will share some of the swaps, as well as the 3 projects we made over the weekend.
It was a great day, filled with projects, ideas and lots of sneak peeks at the 2013-2014 catalog. All demonstrators get to see it early, (April 24th) and my wish list is already long!! I'm excited to see the new colors and ideas!!
Oh, berfoe I sign off, here I am with Shelli Gardner!!
